Sen. Ron Johnson says White House explained firing of State Department IG

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson said Sunday that he had been in touch with White House officials about the late-night firing of the State Department inspector general, and that the reasoning for Steve Linick’s removal was explained to him.
